The Open Data Charter was set up as a global multi-stakeholder action network made up of Stewards and Lead Stewards. The Web Foundation participates as a Lead Steward alongside the the Government of Canada, the Government of Mexico, the Government of the United Kingdom, Omidyar Network and IDRC / Open Data for Development. The Charter is driven by an international executive team.More information about the charter, resources for open data implementation and the adoption process can be found at opendatacharter.net.
