#ChooseToChallenge the growing gender digital divide this International Women’s Day.

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. The theme this year is #ChooseToChallenge, as from challenge comes change. 

At the Web Foundation, we #ChooseToChallenge the growing gender digital divide. The change we are working for is to see a reversal in the widening gap by 2024 — and to ensure that when women do have access, it is to a web that is safe and empowering. We are are playing our part to achieve this goal in the following ways:

• International Women’s Rights Online Coalition
• Meaningful Connectivity for All
