Open Contracting Data Standard
November 17, 2014
The Open Contracting Data Standard (OCDS) — a product of the Open Contracting Partnership (OCP), developed by the World Wide Web Foundation through a project supported by the Omidyar Network and the World Bank — sets out to transform the way governments publish contracting data and to shine a light on how trillions of dollars of public money are spent. The Standard lays out key documents and data that should be published at each stage of a contracting process, giving governments a common format and set of practical tools that will allow them to publish contracting data consistently and openly.
