Jono Goldstein is a Senior Advisor at TA Associates, a Boston-based private equity investment firm.
Jono joined TA in 1986, becoming a Managing Director in 2000 and a Senior Advisor of the firm in 2014. In addition to the Web Foundation, Jono serves on a number of non-profit Boards, including the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, the Steppingstone Foundation, the Winsor School. He also serves on the MIT Corporation Development Committee, the MIT Student Life Visiting Committee, the UNICEF International Council, PBS NOVA’s Science Visiting Council, and is Co-Chair of the Massachusetts General Hospital for Children Advisory Board.
Jono formerly served on the corporate boards of Senior Whole Health, Twin Med, Quotient Bioresearch, Andover.Net, Cypress Pharmaceutical, Direct Hit Technologies, Gulf South Medical Supply, J&B Software, Logistics Health, New West Physicians MSO, NuGenesis Technologies, Preferred Payment Systems, Unique Instruments and WellMed Medical Management. Prior to joining TA, he worked in the Protein Chemistry and Cell Biology Departments at Biogen.
Jono received an SB degree in Biology, an SB degree in Chemical Engineering and an SM degree in Biochemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is Secretary for MIT’s Class of 1983.
