This pandemic has underlined that the web is not a luxury — it’s a lifeline. More than ever, we depend on the web to stay informed, get work done, be educated and entertained, and connect with loved ones.

But it remains beyond the reach of billions of people. Almost half the world still has no internet access. Three in four people in Africa are not connected. Even in New York City, one in three homes are without broadband.

You can help change this. Our small but dedicated team of 30 experts and advocates is fighting to realise the vision of our founder, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, of a web for everyone.
