Reuters: Sweden Tops First Global Web Index

From Reuters: Sept. 5 – Sweden is the most effective at using the Internet to improve people’s lives, ahead of the United States and Britain, according to a global survey launched by Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web. Matt Cowan reports.

    I don´t think it´s a good approach to establish a web index which ends up with statements like 'Sweden has the best internet'. I wished you have chosen a rather multi-faceted approach as can been seen at the OECD better life index: http://www.oecdbetterlifeindex.org/ By choosing this approach, each person/stakeholder could find out 'his' or 'her' 'effectiveness' of the internet by boosting those criteria which are supposed to be important.Thank you for your attention, Andreas Blumauer
