Sarah Jacobs is the Campaign Lead for the Web Foundation. She works across the organisation and with partners to design and deliver effective campaigning, in particular to prevent online gender-based violence and make sure the web is safe and empowering for women and girls.
Prior to joining the Web Foundation, Sarah was Director of Communications at the anti-corruption campaigning organisation Global Witness, and before that was Director of Campaigns at Save the Children. Her work has included leading coalition campaigns that brought together government, civil society, business, the creative industries and activists from around the world to deliver change. Previously, Sarah worked as a journalist in print and documentaries, and is a graduate of Cambridge University.
