Hanifah Ahmad

Research Fellow

Hanifah joins the Open Data Lab team in Jakarta as a research fellow while finishing her Masters of Public Policy program at Oxford University.

Her research focuses on the role of open data in developing countries, particularly looking at patterns of engagements between governments and civil society organisations that could feed into improving the quality and sustainability of openness.

Previously, Hanifah was a policy lead at the British Embassy managing and overseeing anti-corruption and transparency projects as well as leveraging bilateral partnership between the two countries on issues of governance and growth. She has also represented Indonesia at the Open Government Partnership Summit in 2013 and most recently appointed as the head Indonesian delegation to the G20 Youth Summit in China.
